Tête-à-Tête with Raushni Srivastava

It was in December 2020 when actress Raushni Srivastava faced one of the most difficult moments of her life — the passing of her beloved father. His departure left a void that transformed her perspective on life and celebration. Since then, Raushni has chosen to step away from festivities and social revelries, finding her solace instead in introspection and artistic expression.
Speaking candidly about this phase, Raushni shares, “Festivals never really defined happiness for me,” she reflects. “After losing my father, I realized that peace doesn’t necessarily come from external joy but from inner stillness.”
For Raushni, creativity became both her sanctuary and her strength. “The sutra of life,” she says with a serene smile, “lies in playfulness and creativity. Being alone is not a threat — it’s a blessing. Solitude gives me the freedom to contemplate, reflect, and truly understand myself.” Her words resonate deeply, especially in an age where stillness is often mistaken for sadness.
In solitude, she has rediscovered herself — not as a recluse, but as an artist deeply in tune with her emotions and purpose. Raushni believes that creativity flourishes when one embraces silence. “Art grows in quiet moments. When you stop chasing noise, you begin to hear your own voice,” she says thoughtfully.
Now, after a period of introspection and healing, Raushni is ready to bring her artistry back to the screen. Her upcoming film, Kalika, delves into the sensitive and powerful theme of mental abuse. The project is close to her heart, and she hopes it sparks meaningful conversations about emotional well-being and resilience. “Kalika isn’t just a story—it’s a mirror,” she explains. “It reflects the struggles so many face in silence and the courage it takes to confront one’s inner turmoil.”
As she prepares for this new chapter, Raushni radiates quiet confidence — a strength born from solitude and self-awareness. Her journey is a poignant reminder that even in loss, one can find light; and in silence, one can rediscover purpose.
We wish Raushni Srivastava immense success and heartfelt luck for her upcoming release Kalika, and look forward to witnessing her creative spirit shine on screen.
