Indore- born Palak Muchhal, the Indore-ack owledged for her soulful hits and golden voice, has now made it to the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of Records, not for her music, but for her extraordinary humanitarian work.
Through her Palak Palash Charitable Foundation, she has helped fund over 3,800 heart surgeries for underprivileged children across India and beyond, turning her passion for music into a lifelong mission of compassion.
Palak’s journey of giving began at a remarkably young age. As a child, she encountered underprivileged children on a train journey – a moment that changed her life’s course. She made a quiet promise to herself that day:
she will help them someday.
Years later, that nemerged the driving force behind her foundation, which channels every concert earning and personal saving towards life-saving medical interventions.
Her generosity isn’t confined to one cause. Over the years, Palak has supported the families of Kargil martyrs and contributed Rs 10 lakh towards relief for Gujarat earthquake victims. Her commitment to social welfare runs deep-rooted in empathy and fuelled by consistent action.
Even as her musical career soared with songs like ‘Meri Aashiqui’, ‘Kaun Tujhe’, and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, Palak continued to devote her earnings and energy to her foundation.
