Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bellows against street harassment

Advocate of ‘Feminism’, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, as part of L’Oreal Paris stand-up training program, opened up over the issue of street harassment.
Notedly, Aishwarya Rai has never been one to mince words, especially when it comes to issues that impacts on women everywhere. Now, she raises her voice against street harassment saying that the burden should never fall on the woman, or on her dress, lipstick and choices. She has been collaborating with the beauty brand for over a decade now. A video of the actor urging people not to shy away from calling out the problem was shared on Instagram.

She further went on to say that “Never compromise your worth. Do not doubt yourself. Stand up for your worth. Don’t blame your dress or your lipstick”.

Social media users came forward to laud Aishwarya for speaking up, flooding the comments with praise for an issue so many experience yet so few address openly.
