In Silsila, the melody of “Rang Barse” wasn’t composed by Shiv–Har but Amitabh himself.
Similarly, the evergreen “Jahan Teri Yeh Nazar Hai” from Kaalia was composed by Amitabh Bachchan, not R.D. Burman.

In 1971 released film Reshma Aur Shera, he played a mute and deaf character for the first time where expressions spoke louder than words.
