Reportedly, the film is still in the early stage with no official announcement from the team yet. Reports have also suggested that the film is expected hit the floors very soon, and things are falling into place step by step.
The makers, reportedly were on the lookout for the right fit for the role. Following much deliberation, the team locked ‘120 Bahadur’. A report reveals that the makers had been deliberating a good choice, and the search ended with Raashii. Her choices- be it an impactful role in 120 Bahadur, or The Sabarmati Report impressed the team. Meanwhile, she has already inked the deal.
As per the same report, the film’s shoot is expected to kicked-off from January 15 and continue till January 20. This film brings Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee together again after a long time. It also marks a reunion for Bazmee, Kumar, and Vidya Balan, who earlier worked together in ‘Thank You’. Anees Bazmee is known for his fun and light films. This one is also expected to be full of funny scenes and playful moments. The idea is to use Akshay Kumar’s natural comic timing and Vidya Balan’s fun side that people loved in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.
The ‘120 Bahadur’ fame actress embarked on her journey with
‘Madras Café’released in .2013. Following that, she found great success in the South with ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ and many more films.
Recalling over her choices to the media the actress said that after she
did ‘Madras Café’ there there no plans. to do Bollywood films now or only South. Howeverþ was looking for content and I got it in the South when she signed her first Telugu film ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’, it was a great film. At that time she never received film offers that she wantedÿ, She was clear that will only sign a certain kind of film. Just imagine namaste just don’t want to be a filler in a film.”
Rashi ggalso added, “South films opened up that avenue for me and gave me a lot more than what she was asking for. Just went with the flow and never thought will have to go back to Hindi. This is because it’s cinema and language doesn’t matter. Cinema is a language in itself.”
