Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayan first glimpse on Hanuman Jayanti

Notably on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on 2 April, the makers will drop the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama in the upcoming Ramayana.
Producer Namit Malhotra confirmed the announcement on Ram Navami, indicating the glimpse will be a “grand global launch” to showcase years of effort on the project.

Titled “Rama,” the first look is described as a character introduction video.
The Nitesh Tiwari directorial is produced by Namit Malhotra (DNEG) and is a two-part epic being shot for IMAX, with massive investment, featuring top-tier VFX

The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravan, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.
Reportedly Part 1 is scheduled to release in theatres on Diwali 2026, with Part 2 planned for Diwali 2027.

Malhotra emphasized that the launch on Hanuman Jayanti—Lord Ram’s dedicated devotee—is a deeply symbolic and significant moment for the project’s promotion.
