Mohd Shami repeatedly overlookedfor India comeback

India pacer Mohammed Shami has reportedly considered retirement after being repeatedly overlooked for an India comeback by the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee. This is notwithstanding proving his fitness in domestic cricket.

His exclusion has sparked controversy, with critics noting inconsistent selection policies and a lack of clear communication.

He is being pushed to the fringes of the team – deliberately moving away from an experienced player. The feeling of disappointment leading to retirement thoughts.

Earlier Shami had questioned the selection process, questioning who feeds information to selectors, creating tension over his potential return.
