Choreographer Shakti Mohan, in her 40s, is happily single and focusing on her career, rejecting societal pressure to marry despite her mother’s advice. She revealed in a Siddharth Kannan interview that she was previously cheated on in a 3-year relationship, leading to heartbreak and a firm decision to avoid such betrayal.
Currently single, content, and thriving, stating she does not feel anything is missing.
She was two-time leaving her heartbroken for months and caused her to doubt others.
Her mother suggested accepting the cheating and staying, but Shakti refused to settle for that in her life.
She stated she does not have natural maternal instincts and has never desired to have children of her own, despite being a loving aunt.
She moved out of her parents’ home to gain independence and focus on running her dance studio, Nritya Shakti.
