Kriti Sanon steps down as Hyphen CCO, brand’s announcement fuels speculation

Actress and entrepreneur Kriti Sanon has called it a day from her role as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of Hyphen, the skincare brand she co-founded in July 2023 to pursue further opportunities. The announcement, made on April 24, 2026, confirmed that Sanon no longer functions in this operational capacity, while it remains unclear if she has entirely severed ties with the company.

Taking to her Instagram Hyphen called the move as a “major transition” involving “painful but important decisions,” signaling a shift from a founder-led operational phase to a new, professionalized structure.
The resignation follows massive success for the brand, which reported reaching a ₹400 crore revenue run rate within just two years, becoming one of India’s fastest-growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands.
As of now it stands unconfirmed whether Sanon has completely separated from Hyphen, or shifting to a non-operational or strategic role.

The surprise announcement has led to widespread speculation, with fans and industry observers questioning whether this move signals a possible brand acquisition, restructuring, or a transfirmation in her focus toward upcoming film projects.

Sanon launched Hyphen in alliance with PEP Technologies (the team behind mCaffeine) to offer affordable skincare solutions.
