Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, is all set to make her acting debut at age 45 in the comedy-drama film “Daadi Ki Shaadi”.
The film slated for theatrical release on May 8, 2026, features her mother, Neetu Kapoor, and comedian Kapil Sharma. The film also features her daughter, Samara Sahni.
Described as a family comedy-drama, the Ashish R Mohan directorial is produced by RTake Studios and BeingU Studios. The film revolves around a “wedding full of madness,” focusing on a grandmother’s antics.
This project marks a significant moment for the Kapoor family, as Riddhima joins the acting legacy later in life, calling the experience “surreal”.
In addition to the Kapoor duo and Kapil Sharma, the cast includes Sadia Khateeb, Sarath Kumar, and others.
Riddhima, a jewelry designer by profession, was earlier seen in the third season of the Netflix reality series Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives.
