C. Joseph Vijay met with former Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin at his Alwarpet residence in Chennai, a day after taking oath following his party’s major victory.
The meeting, described as a “courtesy call” and a polite interaction between the new head of state and his predecessor, involved the exchange of bouquets and silk shawls, and took place hours after the MLAs were sworn in. The two leaders also discussed the political transition.
