In the midst of his visit to the UAE on May 15, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the drone and missile attacks on the UAE, terming the targeting of civilians and infrastructure as “unacceptable”.
Amidst delegation-level talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, PM Modi thanked the UAE leadership for their care of the Indian community, stating that Indians in the UAE were treated “like members of their own family”.
PM Modi condemned the attacks, saying, “Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable”.”
India stands “shoulder to shoulder” with the UAE.”
He expressed intense gratitude to the UAE Royal Family for looking after the Indian community.
PM Modi reiterated that all issues should be resolved through peaceful dialogue, stressing the importance of peace and stability in the region.
