Sanjay Dutt’s protective counsel, warning Aishwarya Rai against the harsh realities of Bollywood, paved the way for a respectful, decades-long friendship.
During a magazine photoshoot before Aishwarya entered films, Sanjay was struck by her natural beauty and innocence. He warned her not to join Bollywood, fearing the intense competition and industry pressures would strip away her charm.
Even his sisters advised him to keep his distance from the future beauty queen.
Regardless his initial reservations, they later shared a warm and respectful working relationship as co-stars in the films “Shabd”and
“Hum Kisise Kum Nahin”.
While filming, Sanjay frequently praised Aishwarya’s grace, discipline, and elegance, often affectionately referring to her as a “beautiful doll”.
