Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) threatened fresh nationwide protests and senior advocate Kapil Sibal announced a Rs 1 crore legal defense fund, after accusing the government of breaching its promise to withdraw all police cases against student demonstrators.

CJP demanded the unconditional release of all detained students and the formal withdrawal of every FIR filed across states.
The group pressed the central government to deliver a concrete written agreement detailing the case closures.
Leaders warned that protests will restart if the state continues coercive police actions and fails to honour terms.
