Visionary director SS Rajamouli on Tuesday 4 August officially announced his next monumental project, ‘Varanasi, which is set to make cinematic history as the first non-English language feature film shot entirely using IMAX cameras. Known for redefining the boundaries of Indian cinema, Rajamouli’s upcoming epic promises to deliver an unprecedented, fully immersive visual experience tailored specifically for the world’s largest screens.
Production is scheduled to begin later this year, utilizing state-of-the-art IMAX technology to capture the vibrant, timeless essence of Varanasi on a scale never before attempted in regional cinema.
