Govt may scrap JPSC examsstir for CBI probe continues

The Jharkhand government is actively considering the cancellation of recent JPSC examinations following widespread allegations of paper leaks and institutional malpractice.

Regardless government’s signal to scrap the tests, student union leaders announced today that their statewide agitation will continue uninterrupted. Protesting candidates state that canceling the examinations is only a partial fix. They refuse to call off the demonstrations until a mandatory Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe is officially ordered to penalize the corrupt officials involved.

Meanwhile, security has been tightened around key government offices in Ranchi as student groups mobilize for extended sit-ins and shutdowns.
