They struggled to pay rent, skipped celebrating birthdays, and never bought new clothes for festivals. Ruchita even walked to college to save money on bus fares. Because of the cramped space and financial constraints, she had never slept on a bed in her entire in her entire life.

She answered the ₹50 lakh question correctly. When presented with the ultimate Rs.1 crore question about a rare cricket hat-trick record, she lacked certainty. Rather than risking her hard-earned prize money, she played smartly and chose to bat

Ruchita initially shared on the show that winning ₹25 lakh would be enough to buy a permanent home for her family. With her final ₹50 lakh prize, she can now fully realize that dream, move her parents out of the cramped lanes of Dharavi, and finally buy her mother a refrigerator.
