Amitabh Bachchan revealed a surprising family connection to Saif Ali Khan on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), explaining that their link comes through marriage rather than blood.
In the midst of the episode where Saif appeared alongside his
“Haiwaan” co-star Akshay Kumar, the host pointed out the familial tie. Amitabh explained,
“Raj Kapoor’s daughter, Ritu’s son Nikhil is married to his daughter Shweta.” Because Saif is married to Kareena Kapoor Ritu Kapoor’s niece the connection binds the Bachchan and Khan families through the Kapoor and Nanda lineages.
The revelation caught Saif
off-guard, prompting a light-hearted moment when Amitabh jokingly asked how they should address each other in the family. “So now I want to know how should I address Kareena? Kareena will call me what?” Saif responded with quick humor, telling him, “Thank God that’s not a question.”
