Indian Cinema’s Legend and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament, Hema Malini, concluded a memorable visit to New York, highlighted by her participation in ISKCON’s milestone 60th-anniversary Origins Gala and a formal engagement with Indian diplomatic officials.
Serving as a keynote speaker at the Diamond Jubilee Gala hosted at The Glasshouse in New York City, Shrimati Hema Malini addressed a distinguished gathering to celebrate six decades of the movement’s spiritual and cultural contributions. Following the gala, she paid a historic visit to 26 Second Avenue, the site of the very first ISKCON temple, honoring the global movement’s foundational roots.
Amidst her visit, the legendary actress was received by the Consul General of India in New York, Ambassador Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, along with the entire team at the Consulate General. Hema Malini expressed her deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to Ambassador Pradhan and the consular staff for their exceptional warmth, hospitality, and cooperation, noting that the engagement remains a deeply cherished memory of her tour.
