In the midst of their relentless crackdown on hygiene and following an inspection Maharashtra FDA has suspended the FSSAI licence of Colaba Sweet Mart after an inspection on 27 September.
The FDA reported live cockroaches, lizards, flies and larvae in the food premises, along with uncovered food and serious hygiene lapses.
The establishment has been ordered to stop all food-related operations with immediate effect.
