When prolific filmmaker Karan Johar yelled at Kajol on shoot of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”
Its a well-known fact that Karan Johar and Kajol are BFFs and share each other’s back till eternity. There isn’t nothing that Karan is unware doesn’t about the firebrand actress and vice versa. Their friendship is such thick .
But, all may not be versed that once Karan yelled at Kajol on the sets of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’! This has been revealed by the prolific film maker in his book ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.
It so happened that Karan had just emerged as a filmmaker with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, that starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead roles. Aware of Karan’s soft-spoken nature, Kajol took him aside and told him to shout at her in front of everyone! An expectedly shocked and surprised Karan shocked and taken aback was at first obviously reluctant.
But then, Kajol explained the reason behind her plan.
Kajol made Karan know that, she is blessed with an image of an actress with a ‘dont-mess-with-me’ label attached. And if he shouts at Kajol (which nobody dared to), everyone will start taking him seriously and that he will have a smooth journey in making the film. The rest, as they say, is Karan’s ‘his-story’.
The film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai became a box-office tornado and broke many records.
Till date, the film is counted as one of the best romantic films ever made.
