Sameer Wankhede: NCB seizure in Bardez- Goa, 2 lady traffickers arrested
Sameer Wankhede- Zonal Head Mumbai-NCB informed that two lady traffickers have been arrested with 1.030 kgs of Marijuana, 49 tablets (Commercial quantity), 25 gms of Amphetamine,2.2 gms of Cocaine, 1 gms of MDMA powder along with one vehicle/Scooter
It is to apprise that on the basis of an int input regarding trafficking of MDMA and other illicit narcotics contraband, a team of NCB Goa Sub Zone/Mumbai Zone intercepted two Lady drug traffickers on 31/12/2021 at around 1900 hrs at Siolim Wadi, Bardez, Goa, 403517 and succeeded in affecting seizure of 1.030 kgs of Marijuana, 49 tablets (Commercial quantity), 25 gms of Amphetamine,2.2 gms of Cocaine, 1 gms of MDMA powder along with one vehicle/Scooter.
Initial investigation has revealed that one goan lady accused used to supply MDMA and other Drugs on behalf of other Nigerian lady accused who was operating a Drug syndicate.
Few other members of the syndicate including foreign national have been revealed and efforts are being made to apprehend them. The syndicate was active in supplying various drugs to the consumers on the eve of New Year in North Goa. Both female accused were put under arrest today between 0730 hrs to 0745 Hrs, produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody Judicial for 14 days.
