Massive blaze engulfs Malad 21-storey high-rise No injury reported

Residents of Jankakalyan Nagar, off Marve Road, Malad (West) on Saturday morning were witness to a massive blaze that engulfed on the third level of the 21-story Marina Enclave Highrise in Jankalyan Nagar.

Reports reveal the fire broke out in a third floor flat in the
high rise around 11 am.

According to fire officials, four fire tenders rushed to the spot and the fire was doused within 15 minutes adding that nobody was injured in the incident.

The cause of the fire is being ascertained and further details are awaited, he said.

Following the entire floor engulfed in flames, some people on the floor reached to the balcony to call for help.

As good Samaritans, the locals help the people caught up and brought them out safely.
