“Miss Universe” sends shock waves in tinselville on her heart attack
Sushmita Sen, a very popular model and actor has always been in headlines for various reasons sent shock waves in the entertainment industry both in Kolkata and Mumbai’s Bollywood by claiming having suffered an heart attack. Recently heart attack has claimed the lives of some celebs.
No sooner the news got flashed in social media Instagram, her huge fan following, the viewers and the film fraternity in Mumbai, the Mecca of Bollywood got panic.
After heart attack, Sushmita Sen back for fun
As per report she was taken to the Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Vile Parle on February 27, where she underwent ‘angioplasty’ and got a stent inserted.
However,she got discharged in a matter of two dayy. But, the hospital refused comment, citing patient privacy.
Angioplasty is a procedure used to open arteries blocked by coronary disease. Her father Subir Sen quoted “Keep your heart happy and courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most, Shona (Sushmita).

Thanking her well-wishers, she wrote: “This post is just to keep you informed of the good news …that all is well and she is ever ready for some life again. She also wrote “love you guys beyond!!!
Sen was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition known Addison’s disease and as part of the reatment in 2014 ashe was taking steroids as part of the treatment. The actress had said earlier that the years she battled Addison’s disease were pretty traumatising for her.
Reportedly, Addison’s disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is an uncommon illness that occurs when the body doesn’t make enough of certain hormones. In Addison’s disease, the adrenal glands make too little cortisol and, often, too little of another hormone, aldosterone.
Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the second season of Disney Plus Hotstar show Aarya. She has already shot for the third season.
