PM Modi says Government
committed for the respect and empowerment of women
In the backdrop of ‘Mahila
Samman Bachat Patra” initiated by India Post PM Modi lays emphasis on Mahila Samman Bachat Patra, the best example of showing respect and empowerment of women.
Reportedly,the Ministry of Finance had issued the Gazette Notifications for Mahila Samman Savings Certificates, 2023 and made it available in 1.59 lakh post offices with immediate effect.
The scheme was announced in the 2023-24 Budget by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman to commemorate the 75th ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ a significant step towards financial inclusion and empowerment of the women, including the girls.
