Cobra takes shelter at Uddhav Thackeray’s ‘Matoshree’ residence
A four-feet long cobra was spotted at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief and former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s Matoshree residence on Sunday.
A wildlife protection and rescue group was called by Shiv Sainiks after the snake was found at around 1.30pm. Responding to the distress call, Atul Kamble sprang into action and took measures to ensure the safety of all involved.
Kamble spotted the cobra breed lurking behind the water tank. He trapped the cobra and released it into the wild. The snake, measuring approximately four feet in length, belonged to a venomous Cobra species known for its potentially lethal bite.
As per Uddhav wanted to see the cobra and he showed it to him.
The reptile was later handed over to the forest department and released in its natural habitat.
