When asked if the bit was scripted, the New York actor said, “If you say so, I’ll believe it. If you want to call it scripted, let it be, but there was love.”

Neil further stated that Shah Rukh wasn’t upset with him after he asked him to shut up. “He only told him that I’ll have some fun with this. But there was also a pre-warning from him saying that he will have fun with you, you do your thing. So Shah Rukh asked ‘sir, what level of fun are we talking about?’ He said, ‘whatever you can think of, do it.’ He gave him that liberty so he did it.

Meanwhile Neil said that after the incident, Shah Rukh Khan told him, “You did well.” Neil added that he would “never disrespect his elders.
