Another big set back for the Hindi and Marathi Film Industry in the sad demise of the renowned actress Seema Deo, wife of late Veteran actor Ramesh Deo today, Thursday, 24 August, at her Mumbai Bandra residence. She was 83. She had lost her husband Veteran actor Ramesh Deo on February 2, 2022. She is survived by two sons Ajinkya and Abhinav and a huge family of friends and fans to mourn the loss.
Seema who made her acting debut in 1957 in the Film Industry through Marathi film ‘Aliya Bhogasi’ has acted in about 80 Hindi and Marathi films.
Her most popular Hindi films were Koshish, Kora Kagaz and Anand in which was paired with Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and her husband Ramesh Deo.
For the last over a year, Seema has been suffering from age-related health problems.
While son Ajinkya Deo is a noted actor, Abhinav is works as a director in Hindi films.
Meanwhile, according to her son Abhinay, there’s no specific reason for her death. But, it was due to Alzheimer’s and dementia. A person forgets how to walk. The muscle memory starts coming down and one by one, the organs start shutting down.
