BJP’s three-man army
PM Modi Amit Shah CM Adityanath working to a plan ahead of Assembly Elections
With the Assembly Elections not far off, the three top prolific leaders are executing specific roles – PM Modi shoulders the responsibility of countering the Congress party’s overtures to voters, Home Minister Amit Shah is marshalling the frontlines with sharp talking points and the backroom through faction management, while Yogi Adityanath is projecting the hardline Hindutva stance
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election machinery has moved into top gear in the poll-bound states.
Notedly, the three star campaigners of the BJP,
PM Narendra Modi, Union home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath are now into holding multiple election rallies in a day to give effect to the party’s campaign blitzkrieg.
The BJP’s motive seems to be to swing on the five percent, fence-sitter voters, with a high-decibel campaign while charging up the party’s committed voter base to shrug off their inertia and head to the polling booths.
Modi, after a brief pause, is leading the BJP’s charge in the election campaign.
On Wednesday, he held three rallies in Madhya Pradesh alone and BJP is evidently leaning heavily on the PM to electrify party workers as well as committed voters to put an extra effort to mobilise support for party candidates.
Whereas PM Modi aims to cut into the popular perception that an assembly election is fought on local issues, the BJP has slotted clear roles to the party’s lead campaigners to build a multi-pronged poll narrative.
