Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s loss is Rashmika Mandanna’s gain.
In a startling turn of events, it is learnt that Rashmika Mandanna has replaced Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the horror-comedy “Vampires of Vijay Nagar” produced by ‘Stree’ fame Dinesh Vijan. She will share screen space with blockbuster actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
The Aditya Satpodar’s quirky tale directorial rolls by the end of this year.

Although, details about the project remain scarce, industry sources reveal that Samantha was initially in talks for the lead role, but the actress ultimately decided not to take on the project.

This paved the way for Rashmika Mandanna, who has been steadily making her mark in the Hindi film industry. Following the success of “Animal”, Rashmika has high-profile projects like “Chhaava” and Salman Khan’s “Sikandar” in her kitty.

In Telugu, Rashmika has pan-India film Pushpa 2 and other film Girlfriend while she hasn’t signed anything post coming out of the hiatus.
