Kareena Kapoor Khan patches up with SRK- to work in ‘Salute’

Eventually, following rumours of a fallout between Kareena and Shah Rukh Khan post-‘Ra.One’, now news comes to the fore that Kareena will be reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in
“Salute”. As an interior designer by profession, she plays as wife of Rakesh Sharma, Wing Commander and First Indian Air force Pilot to travel outer space.

Salute marks her second film after ‘Veere Di Wedding’ this year, the first being a Karan Johar production opposite Akshay Kumar. Kareena and Shah Rukh last worked together in ‘Ra.One’.
A source adds that Kareena loved the story and is excited to work with Shah Rukh again.

It is learned that ‘Salute’is a biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma, but no official confirmation had been made until now.

Earlier rumours were afloat of a fallout between SRK and Kareena post-‘Ra.One’. Neither confirmed nor denied these reports. Speculation arose when Kareena failed to attend the launch of Gauri Khan’s new interior design store despite many Bollywood celebrities being present. Some believed the fallout was due to her not promoting ‘Ra.One’ as much as expected because she was busy with ‘Agent Vinod’.

The film ‘Salute’ is set to begin production by the end of the year. A formal announcement regarding the movie is anticipated soon.
