NTR Jr kicks-off K.G.F’s Prashanth Neel directorial film
The forthcoming Prashanth Neel’s directorial featuring
Jr.NTR secures global release on Jan. 9, 2026 and this Ptashant -NTR Jr project marks the first collaboration amid the actor and director.
On Friday, 9 August, the production team held a traditional prayer ceremony, which saw the attendance by NTR Jr, Neel, their families, and representatives from the producing entities NTR Arts and Mythri Movie Makers, to kick off production.
Taking to their X, the filmmakers posted that this time around, the earth will tremble under his reign as NTRNEEL step onto the soil on January 9th, 2026.
Neel earlier had directed blockbuster films “K.G.F: Chapter 1” and “K.G.F: Chapter 2” headlined by Yash, and “Salaar,” featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. NTR Jr featured alongside Ram Charan in S.S. Rajamouli‘s Oscar and Golden Globe-winning global smash hit “RRR” “Devara,” which reunites NTR Jr with his “Janatha Garage” director Koratala Siva, due later this year.
