Sharp Shooter Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker and wrestler Aman Sehrawaan appear in KBC 16 –
On September 5, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 will air a special episode titled ‘Jeet Ka Jashn’
featuring two sportpersons
sharpshooter Manu Bhaker, who won two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and wrestler Aman Sehrawat, who became the youngest Indian to win an individual Olympic medal. Host Amitabh Bachchan recently shot the episode with his two special guests.
Amidst gracing the hot seat, Bhaker stated that from a young age, it was her aspirarion to win a gold medal for India, a dream that she remains dedicated to. When the host Amitabh Bachchan asked her why shooters wait so long after taking a shot, she explained how the sport goes beyond the few seconds of shooting.
Adding that many people think shooting is simple—just pick up the pistol and aim, but it’s much more complex than that. In the midst of a match, their heart rate accelerates, and they must remain composed, even if they are feeling anxious. Controlling that nervousness takes time and practice. To maintain focus, she relies on yoga, surya namaskar, and meditation and also use a breathing technique, where she inhales for four seconds and exhale for eight seconds.”
She also stated that her mother, who wished to be an athlete, is her greatest inspiration and that she has always given her the freedom to pursue her interests. Bhaker believes that when a mother is strong, the daughter is naturally strong.
