Bollywood stars travelling with large entourages and the pressure it puts on producers has been going on for years now.
Recently, filmmaker Boney Kapoor weighed in on the debate, sharing how things have been handled within his own family.
Amidst his recent media interaction, Boney spoke on how stars in his own family try to make things easier for producers. He shared that if Janhvi Kapoor is travelling for a shoot, she buys her own tickets, and when her staff or relatives accompany her, he personally takes care of their travel and stay expenses. Boney also recalled how Anil Kapoor, amidst his early days, would go the extra mile to ease the burden on producers—even carrying home piles of dirty clothes after shoots.
Though their mother was upset about it, Anil insisted the costs were too high and chose to pay for them himself.
Janhvi Kapoor on her wedding plans
In another recent interview, Janhvi spoke about her dream wedding and honeymoon. She said that after dressing up so often for work, she would prefer to keep her wedding simple and comfortable. Janhvi shared that she wants to get married at Tirupati with only a few people present, keep the ceremony short, and enjoy a long honeymoon. For her bridal outfit, she added that it would definitely be designed by Manish Malhotra, whom she considers family.
The actress also resonated on love and bond today. She said that falling in love has emerged as almost impossible, as instant gratification has turned romance into something transactional.
As per her, many people no longer have the patience or openness needed to build a real connection.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi was last seen in Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra. She will next be seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, co-starring Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, and Sanya Malhotra.
