B’town’s popular actors Shilpa Shetty and sister Shamita Shetty recently embarked on a spiritual journey across Maharashtra, visiting some of the state’s most famous temples in the state. Their trip comes at a time when Shilpa is involved in a high-profile Rs 60 crore fraud case.
They sought blessings at the Saptashrungi Devi temple near Nashik and also visited Shirdi, where Shilpa paid her respects at the famous Sai Baba temple. Their spiritual journey continued at the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, one of India’s twelve sacred Jyotirlingas in Nashik.
Shamita shared glimpses of their pilgrimage on Instagram, writing, “Beautiful 2 days spent visiting Saptashrungi Devi temple, Shirdi, and Triyambakeshwar.”
