News comes to the fore that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has been confirmed for a January 21, 2027, theatrical release.
This major romantic drama, announced on April 17, 2026, will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, aiming to capitalize on the Republic Day weekend.
The film has experienced delays, partly due to the filmmaker re-shooting scenes for perfection, having earlier planned for a 2025/2026 release.
The movie marks the second collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Bhansali since Saawariya (2007) and features a fresh collaboration with Vicky Kaushal.
It is set to be a significant 2027 theatrical event, arriving after Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana.
The film is produced by Bhansali Productions described as a “magnum opus”.
