Leena Das paired up with Sujata Bakshi. Sujata, along with being a dancer, has worked as a dance assistant in movies.
Leena started dancing at the age of 4 with ghungroo and was a disciple of Gopi Kishan. It is believed that Leena went to Gopikrishna Dance school at Khar where Prema Narayan also went.
She had a six year long training in classical dance first with Gopi Krishna and then with P L Raj. Habiba Rehman and her mother were also her gurus. She also gave credit to all her dance directors from whom she said she learnt from.
