Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 594-kilometer-long Ganga Expressway, costing over ₹36,000 crore, in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, on April 29, 2026, which will reduce the Meerut-Prayagraj journey by six hours .
