Trump says that ‘China is a very, very powerful, big country’ and Taiwan is a ‘very small island’, adding China is ’59 miles away’ from Taiwan, while the ‘we are 9,500 miles away’ and that is a ‘difficult problem’.
It clearly states that the US mission to defend Taiwan is no longer possible.
