Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is making his OTT debut as a showrunner with the web series Pritam and Pedro marking the official acting debut of his son,
Vir Hirani. The Avinash Arun directorial project co-features Arshad Warsi.
“Pritam and Pedro” is planned for a premiere on July 3, 2026 and will stream exclusively on JioHotstar.
The show is an unconventional, lighthearted cyber-crime thriller. Arshad Warsi portrays an old-school investigator, while Vir Hirani plays a modern, tech-savvy cop.
The narrative kicks off when the two unlikely partners discover an abandoned ATM on a beach.
Acknowledged for his heartwarming and humorous storytelling, Hirani states the series will be packed with his signature blend of emotion, madness, and humor.
