Legendary actor Ranveer Singh’s team responded to Federation of Western India Cine Employees FWICE’s) non-cooperation directive over his abrupt exit from “Don 3” by issuing a statement choosing dignity and silence, noting that professional disputes are best handled privately.

Amid the evolving “Don 3” matter of contention, Ranveer Singh’s team issued an official statement maintaining that professional and personal disputes should be handled with “dignity, maturity, and mutual respect.” This measured response arrived following the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) imposition of a non-cooperation directive against the actor for his sudden exit from Farhan Akhtar’s “Don 3”.

The controversy erupted after Ranveer Singh reportedly distanced from the much-anticipated film, allegedly causing Excel Entertainment pre-production and logistical losses. The production house initially sought compensation nearing ₹45 crore for the breach and subsequent delays Reports indicate that Ranvee has returned his ₹10 crore signing amount and given up a stake in his upcoming project tentatively titled Pralay to settle the matter.
The FWICE stepped into the dispute after Ranveer reportedly refused to appear for a meeting to address the producers’ grievances, stating the federation did not have jurisdiction. FWICE announced a directive banning all of its 5,000 members and 32 affiliated craft unions from working with the actor until he resolves the matter personally with the body. Choosing to maintain “restraint and grace,” Ranveer’s spokesperson emphasized that he holds the “highest” regard for the fraternity and will keep his discussions private rather than engaging in public mudslinging.
