TN CM Vijay backs PM Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
Thalapathy C Joseph Vijay made his debut at the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting on Thursday, voicing his commitment to the national vision of a developed India by 2047.

Amidst a candid address to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Vijay emphasized that the goal is only achievable through cooperative federalism and empowered states.
During the session, the Chief Minister laid out key priorities, including robust infrastructure, youth empowerment, and protection for the state’s fishermen.

He also reiterated the state’s firm stance on the NEET issue. Furthermore, CM Vijay highlighted the state’s economic progress, noting Tamil Nadu’s trajectory toward a $1.5 trillion economy by 2036, reinforcing the state’s vital role in India’s broader development goals.
