veteran activist Anna Hazare’s threat of an indefinite hunger strike, criticizing the amendments for diluting the transparency law and introducing heavy procedural hurdles.

Application fees were raised to
Rs 30, with additional charges for photocopies and digital documents.
Applications were restricted to a single subject and limited to 150 words.
Applicants were required to submit self-attested photo identity proof establishing Indian citizenship. Fees of Rs 50 and
Rs 100 were introduced for first and second appeals, respectively.
