BJP demands Shinde action against two Sena Leaders

Internal tensions within the ruling Mahayuti alliance have surfaced as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) formally requested Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to take decisive action against two prominent leaders from his faction of the Shiv Sena.

The friction stems from recent public statements and controversial actions by the two Sena figures, which senior BJP leadership claims have repeatedly violated the alliance’s code of conduct and undermined coalition unity.
Sources within the alliance indicate that the BJP has communicated its deep displeasure directly to the Chief Minister, emphasizing that uncoordinated political maneuvering threatens their collective stability ahead of upcoming legislative strategies.

Although Eknath Shinde has reportedly called for internal restraints to prevent further public escalation, the BJP continues to push for a visible disciplinary response to maintain a cohesive front. The Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) has not yet issued an official statement regarding the specific penalties or actions being considered against the named leaders.
