Delhi gets threats amid Independence Day

Amidst bomb threats ahead of Independence Day on 15 August, the Delhi Police have intensified security measures across the National Capital Territory

Authority figures confirms that comprehensive sweeps of public spaces, transit hubs, and government buildings are currently underway. Specialized anti-sabotage teams, canine squads, and heightened electronic surveillance have been deployed to ensure public safety and secure the city.

The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, unattended packages, or unusual behavior to the emergency helpline at 112 immediately. Officials emphasize that all necessary precautions are actively being taken, and city operations remain under strict monitoring.
