Maharaahtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis strongly endorsed the state Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) aggressive statewide crackdown on food adulteration and safety violations, declaring that compromising food standards directly endangers public health and will not be tolerated.
Fadnavis termed the state-wide inspections a “good step,” noting that any breach of food safety norms creates a direct threat to human lives and health.
Affirming that he is very pleased with the ongoing operations, the Chief Minister confirmed that the rigorous enforcement drive targeting unhygienic eateries, hotels, and supply chains will continue uninterrupted.
