Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) President and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit has fiercely slammed the shocking viral incident in Kargil, demanding an immediate, uncompromised crackdown by State and Central authorities. He ripped into the perpetrators, asserting that the disturbing incident raises alarming questions about the woman’s identity, her hidden motives, and the political or organizational forces backing her actions.
Condemning the behavior as a blatant assault on national dignity, Pandit stated that the country will absolutely not tolerate the vile abuse and disrespect directed at frontline armed forces and police personnel. Warning that absolutely no one stands above the law, the IFTDA chief demanded that the government aggressively expose the facts, unleash the full force of the law, and ensure those responsible face severe legal consequences.
The statement concluded with an urgent appeal to the Ministry of Home Affairs to prioritize the investigation to maintain the morale of the security forces and uphold the integrity of the region.
