Legendary actor Salman Khan personally called the Deol family to express his appreciation for Sunny Deol’s performance in the partition-era historical drama Batwara 1947.
Sunny’s son and co-star, Karan Deol, shared the news amidst an interview.
Karan confirmed that Salman Khan phoned them directly, stating, “He said he liked the film; he liked his father in it.”
Karan praised Salman as an amazing, deeply supportive person whose affection for their family is genuine.
The supportive gesture arrived as a welcome boost during a slow box-office run for the Rajkumar Santoshi directorial, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi.
