Veteran filmmaker Karan Johar is expanding Dharma Productions into mythological cinema by developing a large-scale epic feature film centered on Radha and Krishna.
As per reliable sources, Karan is gearing up to bring the divine story of Radha Krishna on the big screen. This is among the biggest films in the making at Dharma Productions. Radha Krishna is designed as a tentpole divine epic, and the casting will be revealed shortly.
Sachin Ravi, widely acknowledged for directing the Kannada fantasy-adventure hit ‘Avane
Srimannarayana is attached to write and direct the project.
The film is envisioned as a major tentpole feature blending history, massive visual aesthetics, and deep romance.
The story will trace events from Krishna’s birth up to the killing of Kansa, but the divine love story of
Radha and Krishna remains at its heart.
The project is currently in its advanced development phase, with official casting announcements expected to be shared in the near future.
