Cowgirls & Indians offers a fresh, subverted take on the traditional American Western by centering on the immigrant experience. The narrative follows the emotional and cultural journey of an Indian family navigating identity, deep-rooted traditions, and displacement while building a life in the heart of rural Texas. By blending South Asian heritage with classic Americana, the film aims to explore universal themes of resilience and belonging.
